GRASSROOTS
Every legendary scene starts with a spark—and we’re here to light it.
Grassroots music is the pulsating heartbeat of Britain’s live scene—the raw soundtrack that powers independent venues up and down the country.
At The Crooked Crow Bar, we host lineups that hit different—think explosive showcase gigs, spellbinding acoustic sets, boundary-pushing festivals, epic touring acts, and the next wave of future icons. It’s unmissable live music, delivered straight to your doorstep before the rest of the world catches on.
Talented musicians are fueling the scene, firing up our passion, and making everything we do matter. All that’s missing? …You!
We may be few, but small, independent venues are still the soul of the British music industry - the engine room for future sounds! So dive into our listings, show up and help keep the scene thriving.
This page is where we shine a spotlight on the late-night ideas, game-changing projects, and the legends—up-and-coming and established—that make The Crooked Crow Bar what it is. Want to see what grassroots looks like up close? You’re in the right place.
Cooking up something wild? Whether you want to collab, launch the next big thing, or break the mold—we want in. Let’s make some noise together.
