Gazza Fest

GazzaFest – Independent Music, Collaboration & Community

Some of the best grassroots events happen through collaboration.

Over the past few years, The Crooked Crow Bar has built a close relationship with GAZZA Records, working together to bring an eclectic mix of music and events to Leighton Buzzard.

Those collaborations have included grassroots bands, vinyl nights, solo performances, full live gigs, interviews, guest DJs, and appearances from established names within the music industry.

At the centre of that partnership is GazzaFest.

Originally created to celebrate the anniversary of GAZZA Records, GazzaFest has grown into a major independent music event, bringing artists, DJs, music lovers, and record collectors together under one roof.

GazzaFest 6, held at The Crooked Crow Bar in February 2026, celebrated six years of GAZZA Records with an evening featuring grassroots bands, world-class DJs, and independent music culture.

The line-up included Prince Fatty, Sonik Induction Sound System, Audionasties, The Lone Groover, Stray Fox, DJ Dim, and DJ Mikey, creating a night that crossed genres and brought different parts of the independent music community together.

For The Crooked Crow Bar, working with independent promoters such as GAZZA Records is an important part of being a grassroots venue.

It allows promoters to bring their own ideas and audiences into the space while giving artists access to a venue that understands live music and is willing to support independently produced events.

GazzaFest is a great example of what can happen when a venue and an independent promoter work together; creating events that feel personal, different, and genuinely rooted in the music community.
