Nothing for ages, then an abundance of juicy fruitiness all at once (but with hopefully less wasps on your plums)!
From the beautiful, rugged beaches of deepest, remotest Cornwall, I was back in the Buzz and headed straight for The Crow for my birthday celebrations. Okay, I may have subsequently replaced my newly found, serene sense of being with the hangover of the gods, but damn, was it worth it!!! 3 epic bands: Audionasties, Kings Division and V8 played last weekend and they absolutely blew the roof off! It's not easy being a drunk teenager, when you are turning 45, but I like to think that I did the side proud, dancing like a drunk Aunt at a wedding, in a sea of music loving pissheads!!!
We were pretty rammed all weekend, which was a relief, as the bank holiday weekend can often fall foul to people off at festivals and holidays etc. I apologise to all that saw me on Sunday morning. I was deeply unpleasant, my head was thumping, my body ached, one of my eyeballs had turned red and kept weeping, so I spent my actual birthday looking like an old, dishevelled, particularly porky wildebeest with myxomatosis! Glad to report it was all nothing that some reggae, rum, a nap and a curry couldn't cure though!!!
