Your Crowbar Needs You!

Well, what a bank holiday weekend!!! We had a full house for V8 on the Friday night... and they were brilliant, then on Saturday El Bronson were in town and we were so busy we were turning late-comers away at the door! Then a busy Sunday afternoon with Ska From The Bar, so by time we got to Monday, we were ready for a well earned break!

As we mentioned in my last couple of updates, this year has brought with it decisions that need to be made about the future of The Crooked Crow Bar. At the moment it feels a little bit like a head or heart decision, however, if trade increases (like it usually does at this time of year), then the experts have advised us that the business would actually be in a very good position - it's future pretty secure. It is all very achievable, but as yet, we are not quite there. Time is running out, we are nearly half way through 2024, and like all people my age, I can't help but feel that time has gone ridiculously quickly! We have 6 months left to effectively save The Crow, and for each week/month we trade without reaching that target increase, the harder our mission becomes. SO... we have decided to cram as many events into June as we can possibly muster. We have everything from live music, stand up comedy quizzes, movie screenings, clothes swishes, drag cabarets, vinyl DJ sets, theatre shows, BYO vinyl sessions & bar nights, in the hope that there will be something to take your fancy as we REALLY need people come and support. HELP US CROW-BE-ONES, YOU'RE OUR ONLY HOPE!!!

We are kicking off the month with a bit of a fundraiser...
