The last Bank Holiday of 2022 til Christmas!

It's been one hell of a Summer. Not only has it been hotter than Satan's bumcrack for a vast majority of the last couple of months, it has been the first time in over two years where things have felt, (dare we say it), "normal". Gigs from stadiums, arena's, fields, venues & beer gardens up and down the country were finally starting to go ahead, international tours back in blighty, and holidays, weddings, get togethers and "why not?!" piss-ups were all becoming common place once more. We are not going to lie, the inevitable impact it had on us as a venue was a toughie, however, after a few quiet weeks off the back of the Jubilee, things seemed to settle down. We braced ourselves for the worst, we expected to be trading in a ghost town, we launched our Save From Extinction campaign fearing that a few more hits to our trade might mean it's game over! But despite losing a few groups out from time to time (which is unavoidable at this time of year) the "Awakening" of people going out once more, has meant that trade has been steadily increasing. We are now looking forward to seeing what normal trade actually looks like, post pandemic, after this initial summer flurry of backlogged plans settles. The overwhelming support we have received from you all has been absolutely amazing. Word about our awesome little independent, events bar, is starting to get out there and we know that is largely due to you wonderful people, wearing our merch, sharing our posts and telling people about us... So THANKYOU! We are not completely out of the woods yet, but if things continue to go the way they are, and with a couple more fundraising events scheduled to go ahead next month, we are hoping we may then be home and dry.

We had a top week last week, with our 80s disco Friday, midweek Eco-Social, Bad Hombre on Saturday night and a special, all star treat from Paul Ronney Angel & The Bad Mofo's...

We are heading into the Bank Holiday and the end of August in style as we have a jam-packed week of fantastic events lined up...
