Having done nothing but moan about it being too soon to think about Christmas, I have now started to think about Christmas! I know, it is still only sodding November and even contemplating the festivities makes me the biggest of hypocrites, but if the rest of 2022 is anything to go by, 6 weeks will speed past quicker than Mo Farrah on roller-skates! Plus, I have come to the realisation that the rest of the general public are far less of a last-minute-Nancy than I am! So good news... By the end of Thursday, all of our fantastic events for the rest of 2022 will finally be up on our website and Facebook for you to peruse and plan accordingly!
Last week was another belter, with our Silly monthly quiz on Wednesday, live original music from Ryan Griffiths and Audionasties on Thursday, The Pistols Friday, BYO Vinyl and live music from The 38s on Saturday and our Sunday Vibes session on Sunday. Fancy doing something wonderful this Christmas? Why not come and take part in our GIVING TREE.
How it works: 1. Pop into The Crooked Crow Bar and choose a tree-shaped gift tag from our wall 2. Check the back of the tag and see the name and age of a child and the gift they have requested 3. Purchase that gift, wrap and attach the tree tag 4. Bring the gift to the Crow and hand to bar staff for safekeeping 5. We will deliver to KidsOut when they call in collections 6. KidsOut ensure the gifts get to the children for Christmas
The recipients are children who have escaped domestic violence, being forced to flee their homes quickly and leave all possessions behind, as well as children who are living in the highest areas of deprivation in the country and are living with a disability, serious illness or life-limiting conditions.

MOTORFEST for MACMILLAN!
We are hosting a mini fest next Sunday, in memory of Paul Whiting to raise money for MacMillan. We have awesome Motorhead tribute band, Motorpace headlining the afternoon. It is free entry, but as our aim is to raise as much money as we can for a great cause, we will have a collection pot for donations in place of ticket fees. Over 16s only.
