Well as my last update was early February and it is March next week, I thought I had best pull my finger out and write another one! The Crow has been reasonably busy. I say reasonably, because we seem to be busy in waves. Friday and Saturday nights are thankfully jam-packed, and our midweek events are usually well attended, but we still have some dead times that we will need to look to build. Overall, given that January and February can be a terrible time for the industry, trade has been pretty good and we are going into the Spring optimistic that this year might finally be the year when everything get's a bit more settled. So let's keep everything crossed!! Having successfully re-launched our Friday (ticketed) and Saturday (free entry/covers) band nights already this year, over the last few weeks, we began to reintroduce our Wednesday regular events. We now have established our Blockbuster Film Club, Big Fat Quiz, Eco Social and Castle Comedy nights and while we may make a few tweaks to help these regular Wednesday events grow, we are happy to next month, move on to start filling up Thursdays with fantastic events. Thursdays will need to be a bit more fluid than the set monthly events, as we just have too many things we wish to run, from theatre, murder mystery's & drag to live music: Booze & Blues nights, Live & Local nights, Jam Nights and ticketed, bigger circuit bands/artists. So as we head into March keep your eyes peeled for more details!
