Normally I try to get the weekly blog all done and dusted by Tuesday, but somehow this week, Wednesday has just sneaked up on me! To be honest, October sneaked up on me! It seems ridiculous to think that Christmas is only a couple of months away, when it feels like just a couple of weeks ago I was deciding which of my many kaftans were going to transform my look from sweaty hippopotamus to flowy goddess (the answer was, unfortunately, none of them)! The good news is we survived September and at the start of the Summer, that was not looking likely to happen! We've still a way to go before my blood pressure can finally come down a notch, but as we head into the winter months, things definitely seem a lot more positive and settled. I don't want to jinx anything by saying that things are finally back to normal, but it does now, at least feel like we have overcome the pandemic and subsequent damage it caused to the business. So it is with every finger, toe and bloomin' earlobe crossed, we are hurtling towards 2023 with more live music and events than you can shake a stick at!!!
Last week was fantastic. We had a brilliant night of stand up comedy at our Castle Comedy Night on Wednesday, Thursday we had the West Country, Folk Punk legend, Gaz Brookfield, Friday saw a fantastic Hip Hop Lounge, Saturday we were blown away by an epic performance by V8 and a great, chilled Sunday Vibes session, where our new winter pie menu and new winter cocktails went down a treat!

Little White Lights are a brilliant acoustic duo playing original songs and quirky, beautiful covers. And it's free entry.
