We are about to kick-start our jam-packed year of events at The Crooked Crow Bar!
Our opening hours will go back to normal next week (sorry about the confusion, but Christmas & New Year inevitably cause chaos)! But this week we will opening Tuesday from 6pm to accommodate league pool - and there's nothing to stop you popping in for a pint while they play! Then we open on Thursday, 8pm for a fantastic Evening With John Otway, Friday 8pm for our Pantomime and Saturday and Sunday from 12pm (as normal).
So... Coming up at The Crooked Crow Bar:
Thursday 6th January, 8pm: John Otway
After a brilliant performance at The Crooked Crow Bar last year, John Otway is returning for another! In an intimate, bar setting (so relaxed, with plenty of standing space and some seats available), Otway performs his high energy, insane set filled with laughter, songs and stories.
Doors: 8pm
Tickets: £12 +bf (limited tickets available)
Friday 7th January, 8pm: Cinderella
It's our 1st ever Crooked Crow Bar Pantomime (Oh yes it is)!!!
A lot of you will remember the other shows that we did in a previous existence (Sleeping Beauty, Snow White & The 7 Levitating Dwarves, Aladdin, Pater Panto, Alice in Wonderland, The Wizard of Oz and Romeo & Juliet The Musical) and we are sorry to say that despite the new stage and new location, this is likely to be just as ridiculous as before!!!
The performance will be the classic tale of Cinderella... a poor bar wench, mistreated by her evil Step-mother and ugly step sisters, unable to go to The Golden Ball... But with the help of a fairy, a pumpkin and some kick ass shoes, she might just find her happily ever after!
The show will be jam-packed with awful jokes, excessive drinking, bad language & dubious taste and is therefore not suitable for children, dogs, or those with a sensitive disposition.
Free Entry.
Standing gig + Afterparty
