We are pleased to report that we left July with a bit of a bang, as last week was absolutely brilliant: A fantastic Castle Comedy Night on Wednesday, busy bar nights, an absolute belter from The Hip Hop Lounge, a great 90s Night on Saturday and chilled Northern Soul & Ska classics on Sunday! Whilst things are looking positive, we are heading into August with our eyes wide open. Our #SaveFromExtinction campaign is up and running and we are going ahead with our plans (previously postponed due to the pandemic). We have our fingers, toes and any other available body parts, firmly crossed! We have an awesome line-up of events scheduled this month, so as we buckle up and prepare for what may be a bumpy ride, we are hopeful that if we get through this one, things will (FINALLY) get a bit easier!

friendly, chilled environment with a brilliant eclectic soundtrack (so no superstar DJs required)! The pool table is out, board games available and (of course), great beer/cocktails/coffee and delicious pie & mash available 12-4pm. Over 16s only (under 18s must be accompanied by an adult). Dogs welcome.
9pm: Live Music from BLACK ROSE SOCIETY

Wednesday 10th August: FILM QUIZ (8pm)
As we have our Big Fat Quiz this Sunday and because our sparkly jacketed host is away tonight (moonlighting as a 70s disco ball) we have decided to change things up a bit! Don't worry, you will still be able to get your silly quiz fix this Sunday, however tonight we will be dedicating the quiz to all things FILM. With rounds on Harry Potter, Disney, Star Wars, Superheroes and more. Teams of up to 6 people, £1pp, over 16s only, the usual crap prize and no pre-booking required!
*Our usual quiz will be back the 2nd Wednesday of next month.
Thursday 11th August 8pm: JAM NIGHT
With a fantastic house band and drum kit, pa, monitors, mics, stands, and amps provided, this is an event for musicians to be able to get up on our stage and have some fun, drink some beer and bang out some awesome tunes. If you wish to participate, just let us know on the night. You will need to bring your guitar or sticks (depending on what you play) and we will give you a shout when it's time for you to rock out!
